Well I got into Kathmandu sometime this morning, I lost track of all conception of time and space somewhere between Washington Dulles airport and Kathmandu. But I am here. The flights went fine without any problems.
Kathmandu is a very busy city, it seems as if there are advertisements on every building, a very cramped city. The traffic was insane, I thought the driver from the hotel that picked me up was going to either be hit or hit someone. I have also never seen so many motor cycles in a city before, they really made the traffic situation that much more hectic. That and it seemed like noone cared about how they drived.
I will meet someone from the program tomorrow and start to work.
Later.

Hey bro, glad that you made it over there safe. I hope you have a great time, let yourself go and take in this experience for everything that it has to offer. Your doing a truly remarkable thing and I hope you enjoy every minute of it.
ReplyDeleteLove you Bro,
Jeff
Chris:
ReplyDeleteMSU beat Montana U. 40 something to 3. They played well. Dantonio did a lot of substituting, so a lot of players gained game experience. I preached this morning @ Ascension and all went well. We prayed for your safety and success. Dave and Katrina are inner-tubing today and the kids are with Grandma and Grandpa Poletti. And I think I'm going to take a nap. Leading worship and preaching tires me out. I guess listening to my sermon tires others out, as Mom is taking a nap:-)

whats up brother! very glad you made it to the other side of the world safely, sounds like you are describing the downtown area of Ann Arbor as far as the trafic is concerned. . . things are well here, 3 of my grades got back and I 100%'d all of them. Lucas and Kayleigh had an awesome time hangin out with Katrina's parents. . .Tubing was a great break from the norm and now it is back to work on the Homework. I hope to hear some more details about the trip - have a great time and soak it all in Chris-
